Number of Candidate Moves - what does the "G" mean
When I import a PGN and backsolve, candidate move numbers are displayed. However, in some cases a letter G is displayed to the left of one and one only of the candidate move numbers. What does that G mean? I had wondered if it was intended to indicate the main line, but that doesn't appear to be the...
