How to select a non-highlighted branch.

I have build 60 of Chess Openings Wizard. When I am at a node where there is more than one option almost always the top option is highlighted. How, HOW?? do I select one of the non-highlighted options. If I click on them, the program selects the highlighted option anyway. The up and down arrows produce no result. The only way I have been able to do it is to make on the board the move I wish to happen. This is counter-intuitive and, I believe, undesirable.

Hey Ron,

This is a known problem with some copies of Windows 10. I've been unable to duplicate this problem. Most Windows 10 users (including me obviously) don't have this issue so it still has me scratching my head.

If you click on the dropdown menu button to the right of the candidate (or use the down arrow keys) you should be able to get the other candidated highlighted.
