Bug Report: Importing large PGN file fails.

I'm trying to import a large PGN file (5.9 GB) exported from ChessBase MegaBase 2017 into a new COW ebook. The import process only produces a small ebook of about 60 MB before crapping out with the error message shown in the attached screenshot. Is this a known bug? Is there a work-around?
Once the ebook is made on my PC, I'm planning on transferring it to my Android devices to use with the new Android version of COW. I realise I may have to root my devices to transfer the file directly.
