I was able to get past the issue by clicking on one of the candidate moves. Once I did that, the graphics corrected itself. In your screen shot you have the move 1. e4 showing. Try clicking that and see if it helps correct the problem.
I just installed the program yesterday and find the maddening video problem to exist on my rather new Windows 10 Acer gaming laptop. Anytime I try to re-size the screen or the board, I have the problem.

Does the problem persist after a move is made? In other words, does it behave well until/unless you try to re-size the board?
I have not yet been able to duplicate the problem but I have about six users who have experienced it on Windows 10.
